Services Empowering Rural Victims (Project SERV)
A transitional housing program that services 8 to 12 individuals from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 24 months.
Eligibility
- Must reside within Choctaw Nation service area
- Must be a member or have children/dependents of a federally recognized tribe, verified by a tribal membership card and valid CDIB card
- A victim of intimate partner violence (domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking)
- Homeless as a result of the victimization

- Utility and childcare assistance
- Safety planning
- Case management (based on a monthly needs assessment)
- Developing short-term and long-term personal goals
- Financial literacy skills – budgeting, establishing steady income, short-term and long-term financial goals
- Support services – Career Development and LIHEAP
- Legal assistance for child custody and divorce
- Gas vouchers for transitional housing purposes
