Assists tribal members in crisis situations or emergencies and is dedicated to improving members' quality of life.
Eligibility
- Age 54 and under:
- Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal member
- In need of emergency assistance due to a natural disaster, medical emergency, loss of job or homelessness
- Must provide emergency status by submitting supporting documentation
- Copy of SSN card for all household occupants and copy of bill requesting assistance with
- Age 55 and over, Veteran or Disabled Indiviudals
- Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal member
- Provide statement of emergency or hardship on application
- Proof of permanent disability or veteran status (SSDI award letter, DD14, State Issued Driver's License with Veteran logo, military ID card or VA ID card)

Additional Information
Effective October 1, 2023, eligibility requirements will be updated. Assistance will be available per year up to a maximum of $600. Because the program is an emergency-only program, guidelines are updated to ensure the program stays true to the tribe’s values and goals of promoting self-sufficiency and independence while supporting and empowering tribal members. All documents must be dated within 30 days of application.
