Eligibility
- Must be a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal member (aged 18 or older to apply)
- Must reside in the Choctaw Nation service area
- Must provide proof of enrollment in one of the following programs:
- Food Distribution – Letter "Expiration of Certification" required
- SNAP – Letter "Expiration of Certification" required
- Next Step – Letter "Participation of Program" required
- WIC – Letter "Certificate Notice" required
- Or, if not enrolled in any of the programs listed, applicant will need to be at 185% of the Federal Income Guidelines (in dollars per month):
- Family size of 1 – $2,248
- Family size of 2 – $3,041
- Family size of 3 – $3,833
- Family size of 4 – $4,625
- Family size of 5 – $5,418
- Family size of 6 – $6,210
- Family size of 7 – $7,003
- Family size of 8 – $7,795
- Each additional person add $793
- If applicant falls under the Federal Income Guideline of 185% displayed, submit income documentation for verification.
How to Apply
Apply in the Chahta Achvffa member portal. Application dates will be June 4-28, 2024.
Additional Information
Limit one box of ground beef and cracked pecans per tribal member. Upon approval, applicants will receive vouchers between July 15 to August 30.
Distribution will be held in September, October and November.
