Holittoblichit Ishi Atoksvli

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Historic Preservation Department hosted its first Holittoblichit Ishi Atoksvli (How to Protect and Care for) Family Documents workshop in October 2021. Experts gave advice on preservation issues, how to get started in your family history research, creating family trees, and collecting oral histories from loved ones. Departments included: Genealogy, Cultural Center Collections, Chahta Foundation, and the Historic Preservation Department.
