This race is an annual chip-timed, USATF Certified Race on a Certified Course. There is a silent auction to fundraise for PAWS of Pittsburg County. The funds raised are earmarked for the program to help pets needing medical support they cannot afford. Water, chocolate milk and fruit will be provided for participants. A water station is posted at the 2-mile mark, and a vehicle follows runners if anyone needs support. Bathrooms are also available.
Requirements
- The registration deadline is Aug. 28.
- The Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m. and 5K follows at 9:00 a.m.
- The pet contest will begin at 10:00 a.m.
