Frances LaVern Wakeem

Frances LaVern Wakeem, 85, passed away May 18, 2021. LaVern was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Comanche, Okla., to James Edward Moran and Ethel Mae Barnett. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale; and sister Bettie Boorda.

LaVern is survived by children James Dale Wakeem and spouse Linda, Alice Stewart and spouse J.D., Phoebe Diane Wakeem, and Mona Jarvis and spouse Joe; grandchildren Erica Ballard and spouse Jimmy, Benjamin Jarvis and spouse Kelsey, Lindsay Forst and spouse Derek, and Daniel Jarvis and spouse Sydney; great-grandchildren Avery Forst, Alyse Forst, Eleanor Ballard, Shepherd Ballard, and Laela Belle Ballard; and sister Shirley Raney and spouse Curtis.
