Betty Sue Vavonese

Betty Sue (Harlin) Vavonese, 87, passed away April 12, 2023. Betty was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Soper, Okla., to Bud A. Harlin and Amanda (James) Harlin.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband Gaetano “Don” Vavonese; and grandsons Donnie Wayne Vinson Jr. and Neco Ward.

Betty is survived by her daughters Acquanetta Davenport, Carmelita Summers, Patty Patton, and Tammy Walters; sons Robert Harlin, Phillip Harlin, and Clovis Ward; brother John E. Harlin Sawyer; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a host of other friends, family, and loved ones.
