Additional Information

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Honor Guard was formed on May 2, 1998, to honor Choctaw veterans who have served their country and many who gave the ultimate sacrifice during their service. Historians have documented the contributions made by the Choctaw people during their military service, many serving before they were recognized citizens of the United States of America. The Choctaw Nation Honor Guard consists of 17 volunteer members who travel across Oklahoma to perform at tribal events. The Honor Guard is honored to represent Choctaw veterans and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
