Tribal Victim Services
Guidance for victims of crime and their families with counseling and group therapy.
Eligibility
- Must reside within the Choctaw Nation service area
- Have a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) or tribal membership in a federally recognized tribe
- Victim of a crime
Additional Information
This program consists of a Victim Advocate and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). The Victim Advocate will provide comprehensive, culturally competent, direct services to victims of crime and their families. The LPC will be responsible for providing crime victims with counseling sessions and group therapy. The LPC will also make referrals as needed to various other Choctaw Nation programs to assist with health care, daycare, legal assistance, etc.
