Elverta Joanna McCary

Elverta Joanna (Carter) McCary, 94, passed away July 2, 2021. Elverta was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Bethel, Okla., to Chester and Flossie (Roebuck) Carter.

She was preceded in death by her husband J.C.; her parents; three brothers; a sister; son Mickey; grandson Kevin McCary; and great-grandsons Daniel Blanchard and Shawn McCary. Elverta is survived by her children James McCary and spouse Dawn, Robert McCary and spouse Sheila, Mary McPage and spouse Evan Geller, and Charolette McCary; brother Harold Carter; and sisters Verlon Rosenthal and Darlene Bidwell.
