Vocational Development

Assists Native Americans to obtain educational training.

Eligibility

  • Must reside within the Choctaw Nation service area
  • At least 1/8 Native American and have a CDIB showing the degree of Native American blood
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Education courses must be program approved at an accredited two-year college
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student
  • Be enrolled at a program-approved college, training institute or career tech as a full-time student

Additional Information

The Vocational Development Program can offer financial assistance and incentives for education/training programs. Assistance may be offered for any full-time program at all Kiamichi Technology Centers. This program does not pay for short-term classes.
