The Agriculture Program will provide technical assistance for the development and conservation of soil, plant and water resources to any people that want to assume their responsibilities in the conservation, use, development, management and educational processes as they pertain to farming, ranching and soil conservation practices o n Tribal Trust or Restricted land. This program also includes Chickasaw Tribal lands jointly owned with the Choctaw Nation, and individually owned Chickasaw lands within the Choctaw Nation service area.

Credit and Loans Program

There are several loan programs available through the Choctaw Nation.

The Choctaw Nation Credit and Loan Department, better known as the Southeastern Oklahoma Indian Credit Association’s main priority is to make loans to Indians who cannot borrow from other lending institutions.

To be eligible you must possess a CDIB card, and you must reside within the l0-l/2 county service area of the Choctaw Nation.

This Program provides for three types of loans which are:

  • Small Business loans
  • Agricultural loans
  • Home Purchases
  • Home Improvements

Micro-loans are available to all Indians for emergency home improvements and small businesses. These loans are available up to $l,000 and are to be repaid within 12 months.
